ENTERMEDIA THEATRE NEW YORK CITY TECH SPEC AND PETER CLARK FLY SYSTEM

The following is a report I prepared for Joey Asaro, General Manager of Entermedia Theater, an 1129-seat off-Broadway house located on Second Avenue at 12th Street.  The Theatre opened in 1926 as the Yiddish Arts and is shown here below in an early incarnation.

The house was also known as the Gayety, the Phoenix, and the Eden.  Productions which originated there before moving to Broadway included The Golden Apple, Oh Calcutta!, Grease, Whorehouse, and Joseph.  Sadly, the Theatre was multiplexed in the early 1990's, and this is how it appears in 2016.

The Entermedia Peter Clark system is interesting because the majority of the linesets are muled.  To learn more about Peter Clark, click here.
