WARD LEONARD COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS (1929-1930)

In 1929 and 1930, Ward Leonard commissioned seven original color illustrations of stages which utilized their dimmer plates, and three of the houses survive: the Belasco, New Amsterdam, and the Brooklyn Paramount.  Artist Arnold Hall later illustrated a number of covers for the New Yorker magazine.
